The Nokia G42 5G, the company’s newest smartphone, was introduced today in India. HMD Global, a licensee of Nokia, unveiled this brand-new 5G gadget. The phone features a triple back camera configuration, a 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 480+ SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging capabilities. It has an IP52 grade for dust and water resistance and comes pre-installed with Android 13 with the promise of future updates.
Nokia G42 5G Price:
The only available variant of the Nokia G42 5G costs INR 12,599 and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. So Grey and So Purple are the two color choices that are offered. Beginning on September 15, the phone will be available for purchase on Amazon.com.
This handset was initially introduced in Europe in June at EUR 199, which translates to around INR 20,800 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant.

The Nokia G42 5G runs Android 13 and has a two-year upgrade commitment for the operating system as well as three years of monthly security updates. A 6.56-inch HD+ LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a maximum brightness of 560 nits is included. For increased durability, the display also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
An octa-core Snapdragon 480+ SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be increased to 11GB power this 5G smartphone. The Nokia G42 5G’s triple back cameras, which include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors, are put up in a unique layout. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
